Pancakes & maple syrup
Pancake houses in the Granite state stack up against the very best anywhere. Once only a seasonal operation, Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill is open year round and makes their pancakes from freshly milled & stone-ground flour in addition to their own maple syrup. It's the perfect place to stop and fill your belly on a visit to Sugar Hill during lupine season. apple cider & cocktails
New Hampshire is home to many apple orchards and turning these raw apples into an adult beverage is a local favorite. The restaurant at White Mountain Cider Company in Bartlett uses their very own pressed cider to make a few house cocktails, including a cider-based take on the Moscow Mule and their special Cidertini. Up in Rollinsford, North Country Hard Cider was founded in 2014 and offers a revolving menu of more than a dozen ciders, some with a variety of enhancements including habaneros, lemon, pomegranate and spices.

Many with Canadian roots in the northern part of the state brought with them their love of poutine, a delicious combination of french fries covered in gravy and cheese curds. Casual breakfast and lunch spot Chez Vachon in Manchester serves the most classic take of this French Canadian comfort food.

Although often taking a backseat to it's neighboring state, Maple Syrup plays a role in New Hampshire culinary creations as well, including ice cream. A popular combination at some shops is maple walnut ice cream and if you have a serious sweet tooth you can go for a Maple Sundae. Some statewide favorites include Hayward's Ice Cream in Nashua, Bishop's Homemade Ice Cream in Littleton, & Blake's Creamery in Manchester.
Stonyfield Farm
Stonyfield Farm is an organic yogurt maker located in Londonderry. The farm was founded by Samuel Kaymen in 1983, on a 19th-cnetury farmstead in Wilton as an organic farming school. The company makes the second leading brand of organic yogurt in North America, with 13.3% of the market.

Because of the number of lakes in the state, freshwater fishing is a big part of the state's rich outdoor heritage. Fried bass has become a staple in local New Hampshire cuisine.
